Research

In accordance with the provisions of art. 6 of the Government Ordinance No. 57/2002 on scientific research and technological development, in Romania, the national research and development system is made up of all public and private law units and institutions whose activity is research - development. The national research and development system includes different categories of public and private law units and institutions. Among private law units and institutions, in art. 8 lit. d) from O.G. no. 57/2002, "other non-governmental organizations, without patrimonial purpose, whose activity is also research-development or their legally established structures" are listed. Therefore, considering the provisions of art. 6 paragraph (1) of the Statute, the ALAI Romania Association is part of the category of non-governmental, non-profit organizations and is a private law institution that carries out scientific research activities.
